Rory Cochrane’s birth took place on February 28, 1972, in Syracuse, New York, USA. He was born as Rory K. Cochrane to an Indian mother, Nicki Cochrane, while the identity of his Irish father is not known.

He is not the only child of his parents and has two siblings- brother Brendan and sister Siobhan. He frequently posts pictures of his niece and nephews on social media.
