Chrissy Teigen pledges $200K to bail out arrested George Floyd protesters
Fashion model Chrissy Teigen has pledged $200,000 to bailout George Floyd protesters who have been arrested in the protests springing up following the death of unarmed Floyd in police custody.
She tweeted on Saturday, “In celebration of whatever the f—k maga night is, I am committed to donating $100,000 to the bail outs of protestors across the country.”

The mother of two, who is married to singer John Legend, updated the tweet after a commenter branded the protesters “rioters and criminals.” She then responded, “Ooo they might need more money then. Make it $200,000,”
Her original tweet was also a response to President Donald Trump who had tweeted about hosting a MAGA night at the White House.
Within 24 hours her tweet has amassed more than 105k retweets and 817k likes.
