Rapper Big Scarr’s cause of death has been revealed by an alleged family member.
The uncle of the late rapper Arthur Woods shared that the 22-year-old up-and-coming rapper overdosed at his girlfriend’s house in Memphis, Tennessee on Thursday. He was said to have been on prescription pills.

Born as Alexander Woods, Scarr took his stage name after suffering serious injuries from a car crash when he was 16. He was reportedly thrown through the windshield of a friend’s car and left with several scars. His uncle admitted that he nearly died from a gunshot and had suffered from depression.
Back in 2020, Big Scarr was shot in the hip and the bullet went to his spine. Along with bullet removal, the doctors removed his appendix and also realigned his right leg.
He was signed to 017 Records, the record label founded by 42-year-old American rapper Gucci Mane.
