(1990-1992), etc and in the films La batalla del porro (1981), Hombres que rugen (1984), L'escot (1987), Los días del cometa (1989), The Long Winter (1992), to name a few.

Finally, in 1993, Abel Folk was cast in the films Monturiol, el senyor del mar as Narcís Monturiol, and in Havanera 1820  as Ton Massana. The roles earned him multiple awards, as his work is widely recognized and is considered his breakthrough role.
