At the age of 12, Hugill’s interest in acting and performance began after he attended a two-week summer acting course with his sister. His teacher noticed his potential so took him to the Royal Shakespeare Company and also helped him to apply for drama school in London.

Films, TV Series

Following college graduation, Adam Hugill’s debut role was in the 2018 short film Angel. This was followed by appearances in the TV series Pennyworth (2019) as Jack, World on Fire (2019) as Vic, and in the films 1917 (2019) as Private Atkins, How to Stop a Recurring Dream (2020) as Kayden, The Banishing (2020) as Frank Peerless.

Finally, in 2020, he was cast as Constable Carrot Ironfoundersson in the TV series The Watch. He appeared in 8 episodes of the show which is considered his breakthrough role. In 2022, he starred in the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as Rintrah and in the TV series Sherwood as Scott Rowley.
