His following roles were in the short film You & Me (2013), We Make That Lemonade (2014), and the TV movie Jacked Up (2013). Finally, in 2014, he was cast as Nicky Harper in Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. He portrayed the character for a total of 84 episodes, until 2018, and it is considered his breakthrough role.

Since then Aidan Gallagher has appeared in the TV movies Nickelodeon's Sizzling Summer Camp Special (2017), and Nickelodeon's Ho Ho Holiday Special (2015). Moreover, he has been playing the lead role of Number Five on the TV series The Umbrella Academy (2019-2022: three seasons so far).
