Who is Alan Bersten?
Alan Bersten is a dancer by profession and American by nationality. He has completed several national dance competitions including So You Think You Can Dance, and Dancing With The Stars with The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown.

Alan Bersten’s birth took place on 26 May 1994 in Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA. He was born to his Russian-American mother Raisa Bersten and his father Alex Bersten. He is not the only child of his parents and has two siblings- older brother Gene Bersten and older sister Melani Bersten.
Education, Ethnicity
As he is a child of Russian immigrant parents, his ethnicity is Russian. For education, he attended Hopkins High School and after graduation went on to study at the University of Minnesota.
Alan Bersten – Girlfriend, Wife, Girlfriend, Divorce
Bersten was in a relationship with a beautiful brunette woman named Hayley in 2014. The two dated for around a year before calling it quits. In 2016 he was in a relationship with his girlfriend Paige VanZant but broke up soon after.
In 2018 he dated his fellow DWTS partner Alexis Ren. However, the couple broke up just a few months after season 27 of DWTS ended.
He was also rumored to be dating co-star Hannah Brown in 2019. In response, the onscreen partners denied the claims that they were dating.
Currently, he is single sans wife and children and as he has never been married, divorce is out of context.

Alan Bersten – Career
Early Career
Bersten began dancing at the age of 7. In fact, his brother is the one who introduced him to dance.
Following years of practice, the Bersten brothers auditioned together in season 10 of So You Think You Can Dance. Alan Bersten went on to secure a spot on the Top 6 males while Gene did not do so well in the competition.
After season 10 of So You Think You Can Dance ended he toured with the company and went on to join Burn the Floor’s world tour. Soon enough he landed a recurring role in the TV series Glee and was part of New Directions’ choir nemesis Vocal Adrenaline.
DWTS
In season 20 of the hit dance competition Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) Alan Bersten began working as a member of the troupe. He remained in the position for four more seasons before becoming a professional partner in season 25.

Partners
In season 25 of DWTS Alan Bersten was partnered up with Broadway actress Debbie Gibson. The pair finished in the 12th position, being eliminated in the second week.
He was paired up with Olympic figure skater Mirai Nagasu in season 26 of DWTS and finished in the 4th position. In the next season (season 27) Alan Bersten was partnered with model and social media personality Alexis Ren. The dancing duo reached the finals finishing in the 4th place.
In 2019 Bersten’s dance partner was The Bachelorette star, Hannah Brown. With great chemistry and dance moves between them, they went on to win season 28 of DWTS.

Alan Bersten – Health, Surgery
In 2018 Alan Bersten was diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism, in which the patient has a tumor on the parathyroid glands. He underwent surgery to remove his left parathyroid gland in which the tumor had been detected. Just after a week of recovery, he went right back to work.
