Early Days
At the age of 14, Alan Mehdizadeh appeared in a youth production of Godspell at the Questors Theatre in Ealing. He also performed at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre production of Watership Down as Cowslip.
Mehdizadeh’s debut screen role was as a school kid in the TV series Grange Hill. He portrayed the character for 40 episodes between 1997 and 1998. This is considered his breakthrough role.

Over the years he has starred in the films Billy Elliot (2014) as Big Davey, The Outfit (2022) as Monk, Dune: Part Two (2024) as Weapon Master, etc and in the short films Card Boy (2015), Ma (2024).
Alan Mehdizadeh has also portrayed characters in the episodes of the TV series Autopsy: The Last Hours of (2020) as Brennan Thicke, Whitstable Pearl (2021) as Suit, The Outlaws (2022) as Cabbie, The Power of Parker (2023) as Karim, Rivals (2024) as Gary, among others.
