Early Days

After graduating from college, Brock joined the British Army’s cavalry regiment, the Queen's Royal Hussars. In 2008, he was commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and in 2014, he left the armed forces. During his time as an officer, Alex Brock served in combat operations both in Iraq and Afghanistan.

After leaving the army, he shortened his name to Alex Brock and started his career as an actor. He joined forces with former military colleagues to create a company providing military support to the Film and television industry called the Bare Arms.

In his early days as an actor, Brock worked as a model as well as in commercials. His debut screen appearance was as a young British Officer in an episode of the TV mini-series Our World War.

This was followed by minor roles in the films Fury (2014), Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023) and in the episode(s) of the TV series Requiem (2018), Baghdad Central (2020), Homeland (2020), FBI: International (2021), The Midwich Cuckoos (2022), Citadel (2023), etc.
