Who is Andrea Brooks?

Andrea Brooks is an actress, model by profession and Canadian by nationality. She is best known for starring in the Hallmark series When Calls the Heart as Faith Carter and in Supergirl as Eve Teschmacher.

Andrea Brooks’ birth took place on March 3, 1989, in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. She was born Andrea Katherine Brooks to her mother, Leslie Brooks, a former skater who became a trainer, while the identity of her father is not shared with the public. 

She is not the only child of her parents and has a sibling, a younger brother named Matt Brooks.

Growing up, she was trained in skating, dancing, as well as musical theatre. She was greatly influenced by the latter one and aspired to become an actress. After completing high school education, Andrea Brooks went on to study at the University of British Columbia, where she earned a BA in English Literature and Film Studies. 

She also gained an MA in Film Studies from the same.

Andrea Brooks married her longtime boyfriend, Riley Graydon, on September 15, 2018. With her husband, she welcomed their child, daughter Viola Graydon, in November 2019. Also, in November 2022, she announced via social media that she was pregnant with her second child and was due in late 2022. Their son Levon Graydon was born on December 17, 2022.

The pair welcomed their third child, Angus Graydon, in November 2024.

Currently, they are believed to be living a blissful marriage without news of extra-marital affairs or divorce.

Early Days

Brooks was only 15 years old when she auditioned for the Disney film Ice Princess. Although she did not get the role, she did gain an agent. She started her professional career as an actress in 2006, her debut role being in the short film Dysfunction and in an episode of the TV series Saved.

Since then, she has starred in films What Goes Up (2009), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Dear Mr. Gacy (2010), and in the TV series Supernatural (2006), The Troop (2009-2011).
