Who is Anna Camp?

Anna Camp is a singer, actress by profession, and American by nationality.  She is best known for her role in The Lovebirds, Perfect Harmony, True Blood as Sarah Newlin, and as Aubrey in the Pitch Perfect movie series.

Anna Camp’s birth took place on September 27, 1982, in Aiken, South Carolina, USA. She was born Anna Ragsdale Camp to father Thomas Sewell Camp, a bank executive, and mother Dee Camp, a Democratic Party volunteer.

She is not the only child of her parents and has an older sibling, a sister named Saluda Camp.

She was educated at Meadowfield Elementary School. After graduating from Dreher High School, she attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2004.

Camp got engaged to her boyfriend, Michael Mosley, also an actor, in September 2008. Two years on, the couple married in an intimate ceremony on 29 January 2010. But only three years later, in 2013, she and her husband divorced.

The same year, in 2013, she began dating her Pitch Perfect co-star Skylar Astin. After about three years of dating, it was reported in January 2016 that she and Skylar Astin had gotten engaged to be married.

On September 10, 2016, they tied the knot. But on April 19, 2019, it was announced that they had separated and a divorce had been filed. Camp does not have any children from any of her relationships.

In March 2020, it was reported that she was dating drummer Michael Johnson. The pair had made it official on Instagram but has since broken up.

She went on to date stylist Jade Whipkey. Her girlfriend is an LA stylist.

Anna Camp – Career

Before fame

Camp was introduced to acting in the second grade when she was cast in a Drug Abuse Resistance Education production. After completing her course in college, she moved to New York City to pursue her career in acting.

In 2005, she landed a minor role of Perfect in Columbinus, followed by a role in the Off-Broadway play The Scene. Anna Camp soon landed roles in the films And Then Came Love (2007), Pretty Bird (2008), and in the TV series Cashmere Mafia, which only aired the pilot episode.

In 2008, she landed the breakthrough role of Sarah Newlin in True Blood and portrayed the role until 2014.
