Who is Billie Lourd?

Billie Lourd is an actress by profession and American by nationality. She is well known as the daughter of Carrie Fisher and is best known for her work in Scream Queens, American Horror Story, and the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

Billie Lourd’s birth occurred on July 17, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was born Billie Catherine Lourd to her mother Carrie Fisher, an actress, and her father Bryan Lourd, a talent agent.

She is her parent's only child and has no siblings. However, from her father's marriage to Bruce Bozzi, she has an adopted sister named Ava.

As Lourd was born into a family of entertainers, she does have other famous names in her family. Her maternal grandparents are actress Debbie Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher. She is the niece of Todd Fisher, Joely Fisher, and Tricia Leigh Fisher.

Billie Lourd attended Harvard-Westlake School and New York University, where she studied psychology and religion, graduating in 2014. She had interned with HBO Documentary Films and Another Planet Entertainment.

Billie Lourd – Boyfriend, Husband, Children, Divorce

Lourd was in a relationship with Austen Rydell but the couple soon broke up. She went on to date Taylor Lautner but this affair ended in July 2017 after 7 months together. 

A few months after Billie Lourd’s break up with Lautner, she rekindled the relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Austen Rydell, in early 2017. In June 2016 it was revealed that they were engaged and set to marry in the near future.

In September 2020, the couple she and her boyfriend welcomed son Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell, having kept the entire pregnancy a secret. They eventually married on March 12, 2022. There are no rumors of divorce surrounding the pair.

Films, series

The young actress began her career in 2015 as Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This was followed by roles in films Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), Billionaire Boys Club (2018), Booksmart (2019), and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019). 

In the TV series, Billie Lourd landed the central role of Sadie Swenson / Chanel #3 in Scream Queens (2015-2016). She has also had roles in several episodes of American Horror Story: Cult (2017) and American Horror Story: Apocalypse (2018).
