Early Career

After his mother encouraged him to enter show business, he started his career as an actor at the age of 19. One of his first roles was as a stand-in and extra in the 1992 film Juice, followed by his TV acting debut in CBS Schoolbreak Special. Finally, in 1993, he was cast as Diquan Mitchell in the film Strapped, which is considered his breakthrough.
