This was followed by appearances in the films The Monkey's Mask, Floodhouse (2004), Noise (2007), Ten Empty (2008), etc., and in the episodes of the TV series Young Lions (2002), Life Support (2001-2002), Fat Cow Motel (2003), Love My Way (2004-2007), among others.

Since 2010, Brendan Cowell has starred in the films Beneath Hill 60 (2010), Last Cab to Darwin (2015), Observance (2015), Broke (2016), and Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) as Mick Scoresby, among others.
