Who is Brittany Cartwright?

Brittany Cartwright is an Instagram model, reality TV star by profession, and American by nationality. She is best known for starring in the reality TV show Vanderpump Rules and Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky.

Brittany Cartwright’s birth took place on 25 January 1989 in Kentucky, USA. She was born to her mother Sherri Cartwright and her father Don Cartwright. She frequently features her dad on the reality show Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky and on her social media.

She is not the only child of her parents and has an older sibling, a sister named Melisha Cartwright. Although she has not shared how many siblings she has, she has shared that she has an older sister. Cartwright also has nieces and nephews.

After graduating from high school, she attended Easter Kentucky University to study nursing while also working as a waitress at Hooters. While at the college, she was a member of the school's cheerleading squad.

Brittany Cartwright started dating Jax Taylor in May 2015 after meeting in Vegas. After the fateful meeting, Taylor invited her to join the TV show. Just a few weeks later, she moved to Los Angeles with her new boyfriend.

The romance was not quite expected by the cast and crew and most did not expect their relationship to become meaningful. Taylor was once caught cheating on Cartwright with Faith Stowers but got back together after a brief split. But she and her boyfriend clear the doubts and even got engaged.

On 7 June 2018, Taylor proposed to her at an outdoor restaurant in Malibu, California with a 3-carat diamond ring. The couple married on June 29, 2019. He and his wife welcomed their first child, son Cruz Michael in April 2021. In July 2022 the couple shared that they are planning on having more children.

Although their relationship has been rocked by cheating scandals, the two have remained strong together without rumors of divorce.

Brittany Cartwright – Career

Cartwright began her career in TV as a guest star in Lisa Vanderpump’s series Vanderpump Rules which deals with the everyday lives of the SUR and Villa Blanca servers. The Instagram model progressed from guest star to recurring cast only becoming the main cast of the show in the sixth series.

In 2017 Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor were signed into their own spin-off series titled Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky. The series featured Cartwright and Taylor traveling to Kentucky, which is her hometown.

She also acted in 2018’s God Bless the Broken Road. On the reality show, she has starred alongside Kristen Doute, Stassi Schroeder, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Lala Kent, and Kristen Doute.
