Cameron Britton is an actor by profession and American by nationality. He is best known for starring in the TV series Mindhunter as Ed Kemper, and The Umbrella Academy as Hazel.

Cameron Britton was born on June 6, 1986, in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. His mother’s name is Julianna Martinelli while the name of his father is not known to the public although he has featured his dad on Instagram. There are no mentions of his siblings. Early Days

For eight years Britton worked as a preschool teacher. He taught special needs children aged between 18 months to three years old.

Cameron Britton eventually changed his career and started working as an actor in 2014. His debut screen role was in a 2014 TV Series documentary Unusual Suspects as Jeffrey Boyd. This was followed by minor appearances in the films Camp Takota (2014), Redeemed (2014), Day Out of Days (2015), and in the episodes of the TV series Lab Rats (2014), Vox Influx (2014), Battle Creek (2015), Stitchers (2015-2017), etc.

Finally, in 2017, Britton was cast as Edmund Kemper in the TV series Mindhunter (2017-2019). Although he appeared in a total of four episodes, it was enough to gather him international recognition, having earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for this work.

(2017), Barry (2018), The Umbrella Academy (2019-2020), Manhunt (2020), Shrill (2021), and the TV miniseries The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window (2022). He also landed roles in the films The Girl in the Spider's Web (2018), All Earthly Constraints (2020), and A Man Called Otto (2022) among others.
