Since beginning her career as a TV actress in 1995 Catherine Curtin has starred in dozens of films and series. Her debut role was in the film Suspicions (1995) as Bridgette. This was followed by roles in the films Ed's Next Move (1996), and Happy End (2003), and in the TV series Guiding Light (1997), Law & Order (2000, 2008), and Third Watch (2002), among others.

Moreover, Curtin has portrayed characters in many Off-Broadway theatre productions including the title role of Janis Joplin in Love, Janis.
