David’s debut acting screen role was in a 2007 episode of Disney’s Hannah Montana. After nearly a decade, in 2016, she returned to the film/TV set. Since then she has appeared in the TV series CollegeHumor Originals (2016), Life & Beth (2022), and The Umbrella Academy (2022). She played Jayme Hargreeves in season three of The Umbrella Academy and is considered her breakthrough role.
As a guest, Cazzie David has made appearances in the TV shows Good Morning America (2020), and Late Night with Seth Meyers (2020, 2022), presented in the MTV Movie & TV Awards (2022). Moreover, she has guest starred in the podcast series Call Her Daddy in 2022.
