Chelsea Hobbs is an actress by profession and Canadian by nationality. She is well known for appearing in Snow Queen as Gerda and in the ABC Family, teen drama Make It or Break It as Emily Kmetko.

Chelsea Hobbs’ birth took place on February 18, 1985, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She was born to her mother Dana Hobbs and her father Richard Hobbs. She is not the only child of her parents and has two siblings, a younger brother named Leo Hobbs and a sister named Taylor Hobbs, who is now a product manager at Parkland Design and Manufacturing.

After seven years of marriage, the pair divorced, which was finalized in 2014. She went on to date Jean-Luc Bilodeau but split up soon after.

After years of dating, she married actor and former fashion model James Neate on New Year's Eve 2019, having got engaged in October 2019. The couple welcomed their son Jones Powell Neate on May 21, 2020, while their daughter Lucy Taylor Neate was born in January 2022.

Early Days

Hobbs began dancing at the age of 3 and in her youth appeared in over 40 commercials. After minor roles in the TV films Sweet Dreams (1996), and Perfect Body (1997), and in the TV series Pasadena (2001), and The Sausage Factory (2002), she landed the breakthrough role of Gerda in the TV film Snow Queen (2002).
