Who is Chelsey Reist?

Chelsey Reist is an actress, TV host, and dancer by profession and Canadian by nationality. She is well known for starring in The 100 as Harper McIntyre, 12 Rounds: Reloaded, the remake of 1995’s Embrace of the Vampire, in Benchwarmers 2 as Annie, in Narcoleap as Kelsey.

Chelsey Reist’s birth took place on January 4, 1987, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She was born Chelsey Marie Reist to her father Tom Reist and her mother Etta Reist. 

She is not the only child of her parents and has a sibling, a sister named Vicki Quarters, and a brother. Also, Chelsey Reist is an aunt to her sister’s children - a nephew and niece Ava.

After graduation from high school, Reist went on to study acting for screen and stage at the Capilano University in Northern Vancouver. She also trained in Disneyland as a qualified dancer.

In 2009 Chelsey Reist began her career as an actress, her debut role being in the film The Compass. This was followed by roles in films Mon Ami (2012), 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded (2013), Embrace of the Vampire (2013) and in episodes of TV series True Justice (2011), Psych (2011, 2014), The Tomorrow People (2013).

Finally, in 2014 Reist was cast as Harper McIntyre, a recurring character in the science-fiction drama TV series The 100. She played the role in a total of 41 episodes from seasons 1 to 5.

Since then Chelsey Reist has starred in TV films Veiled Threats (2014), Oh Say Can You See (2014), Christmas Cookies (2016), and in the films Dark Harvest (2016), Limina (2016), Benchwarmers 2: Breaking Balls (2019), among others.

She has also made appearances on the episode(s) of the TV series Aftermath (2016), Supernatural (2017), Narcoleap (2018), Van Helsing (2018), etc. Also, Reist has worked as a host of Discovering Great Towns (2010) and City Lights (2011).
