Early Days
Choi Won-young’s debut screen role was in the 2002 film Sex is Zero, which gained him considerable traction in the Korean movie industry. This was followed by roles in the films Yeonae-salsa (2005), Mudeungsan Tarzan, Park Heung-Suk (2005), Saeng, nal-seon-saeng (2006), Cheaters (2006), etc.
Finally, he was cast as Nam Gyeong Woo in the TV series You Are My Destiny. Won-young portrayed the character for a total of 52 episodes in 2008 and is considered his breakthrough role.
