Who is Chris Pang?
Chris Pang is an actor by profession and Australian by nationality. He is well known for starring in Crazy Rich Asians, Tomorrow, When the War Began, and Charlie’s Angels.

Chris Pang’s birth took place on 29 December 1984 in Melbourne, Australia. He was born Christopher Pang to his mother Anne Pang and his father Barry Pang. Both of his parents worked as Wing Chun instructors.
Pang may be the only child as he has not mentioned anything about his sibling(s). He is related to Bruce Lee as Lee's father was cousins with Pang's paternal grandmother. And from his mother’s side, he is related to Chinese revolutionary leader Wong Nai Siong.

After completing his high school education, Pang went on to study at a university for a major in multimedia studies. But as he was unsatisfied with his studies, he took a year off. During that time he sold phones to businesses and soon got into acting.

Accidental career
While Chris Pang was selling phones, he accidentally walked into a casting agency that was looking for a performer to do a Chinese accent. He landed the voice role in New Police Story 4 as Jackie Chan's brother.
He then moved to Beijing and Hong Kong to pursue an acting career. Finally, in 2010 Chris Pang landed his breakthrough role as Lee Takkam in Tomorrow When the War Began.
