Corey Kluber’s birth took place on April 10, 1986, in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. He was born Corey Scott Kluber to parents Jim Kluber and Ellen Kluber. He was raised in Florida with a sibling- a sister whose name is not yet revealed.

Corey Kluber married his longtime girlfriend Amanda Hill on November 6, 2010. They had met while in college. Together they have welcomed three children, two daughters, and one son.
Their first daughter is named Kendall Kluber was born in 2011 and their second daughter Kennedy Kluber was born in 2014. The couple welcomed their third child, a baby boy in December 2016. They have named their son Kamden Kluber.
Corey Kluber and his wife also run a program with the Cleveland Clinic called Kluber’s Kids, which helps sick children.

Before fame
Kluber started playing baseball very young. Corey Kluber played baseball in high school and continued to do so through the college team Stetson Hatters baseball team. At his university, he was named Atlantic Sun Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2007 and was also in the Stetson Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014.
In the 2004 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft, Corey Kluber was not selected and only gained attention when he pitched at the World Wood Bat Championships while a student at Stetson University.

Played for
In the fourth round of the 2007 MBL draft, Corey Kluber was selected by San Diego Padres and signed with them. In 2008, he played for the Fort Wayne Wizards and the same year was also named the Midwest League Pitcher of the Week.
In 2009, Corey Kluber played for Lake Elsinore Storm and was named the California League Pitcher of the Week. On July 31, 2010, San Diego Padres traded him to the Cleveland Indians. In 2011, he played for the Columbus Clippers and on September 1, 2011, Kluber made his MBL debut.
On September 22, 2013, he became the first pitcher to strike out 14 batters in consecutive starts. The last such record was of Randy Johnson in 2004. On April 5, 2019, he signed a contract with Cleveland Indians which guaranteed a five-year extension with an additional two option years for $38.5 million.
Corey Kluber played against Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, and Chicago White Sox.
On May 1, 2019, he broke his right forearm when he was hit by a comebacker in a game against Miami Marlins.
