Corey Stoll began his career as an actor soon after college graduation. In 2004, he played Mr. Marks in the theatre play Intimate Apparel opposite Tony Winner and Oscar Winner Viola Davis. The same year he had guest appearances in the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Charmed, NYPD Blue, etc.
Stoll went on to star in the films North Country (2005), Push (2009), Salt (2010), Midnight in Paris (2011), and in TV series The Unit (2006), NCIS (2006-2007), Law & Order: LA (2010-2011), among others. Finally, in 2013, his role as Rep. Peter Russo in the Netflix series House of Cards gave him a career breakthrough.
