Cory Lee is a professional singer, songwriter, actress, and Canadian national. She is best known for starring in the TV series Instant Star as Karma and in Degrassi: The Next Generation as Miss Oh.

Cory Lee’s birth took place on November 13, 1984, in Vancouver, Canada. She was born Cory Lee Urhahn to her Chinese mother Janet Lee and her German father Helmut Urhahn. She is not the only child of her parents and has a sibling, an older sister named Kim Urhahn. Also, Cory Lee is an aunt to nephew Ashwin and niece Violet.

Early Days

In 2002 Lee moved to China to join a girl group called NRG which performed in Hong Kong. However, due to the 2002 SARS outbreak in China, she returned to Canada to focus on her solo career. 

Cory Lee released her debut single What a Difference a Day Makes in 2005 while her single The Naughty Song was a hit in clubs across Canada. This was followed by the release of her second album Sinful Innocence on May 15, 2007.

Over the years Cory Lee has released studio albums Hot Pink Heart – Part One (2012), Hot Pink Heart – Part Two (2013), and an EP titled Cruel Intentions & Fashion Show (2012). 

As an actress, she has starred in Grand Theft Auto Girls, Saw V (2008) as Jasmine, The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005), Waterfall, Scary Movie 4 (2006), 2Ge+her, and in Hallmark movie Matchmaker Mysteries alongside Danica McKellar. 

Moreover, Cory Lee has also had appearances on the episode(s) of the TV series Instant Star (2007-2008) as Karma, Being Erica, Degrassi: The Next Generation (2010-2014), and Rookie Blue, among others.
