Craig Ferguson – Age, Parents, Siblings
Craig Ferguson was born on 17 May 1962 in Springburn, Glasgow, Scotland. His mother is Janet Ferguson and his father is Robert Ferguson.
He is not the only child of his parents and his siblings too- one elder brother (Scott), one older sister (Janice), and one younger sister (Lynn Ferguson Tweddle). Lynn Ferguson Tweddle is also a successful comedian.
When Ferguson was around six months old, the family moved to a council house in Cumbernauld. This is where he was raised. Describing his childhood he remembers he was bullied and was a chubby young boy. In 1975, at the age of 13, he visited his uncle in Long Island, United States.
Education, Ethnicity
For his education, Ferguson attended Muirfield Primary School and later enrolled in Cumbernauld High School. But at the age of 16, he dropped out of school to be an apprentice of an electronics technician at a local factory of Burroughs Corporation.
His ethnicity includes Scottish and Irish.

Ferguson was married to Anne Hogarth. They had tied the knot on 20 October 1983 and had lived in New York. But three years into the marriage, their relationship and marriage crumbled. Ferguson and Hogarth divorced in 1986.
Ferguson’s second marriage was to Sascha Corwin, founder, and proprietor of Los Angeles' Spy School. He and his girlfriend tied the knot on 18 July 1998. Their son Milo Hamish Ferguson was born in 2001. Their relationship too crumbled and he divorced his wife in 2004.
Craig Ferguson is currently married to Megan Wallace-Cunningham, an art dealer. After dating for some time, they tied the knot On 21 December 2008 in Chester, Vermont. The ceremony was a private one and was attended by close family and friends. Megan Wallace-Cunningham gave birth to their son Liam James Ferguson on 31 January 2011. They both are set to star in the YouTube series “Couple thinkers”.
Craig Ferguson – Career
Early career
In 1983, he moved to New York City to work in construction in Harlem. He had a slight change in his career when he took up the job as a bouncer at the nightclub called Save the Robots. Before he moved to the U.S.A., he had a wee bit of experience in entertainment. He was in the music band Exposure, The Bastards from Hell, and Dreamboys and regularly performed in Glasgow from 1980 to 1982.
His break came in 1986 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe where his creation "Bing Hitler", a character became a hit. Soon he was on the road to stardom and appeared in Red Dwarf, STV's Hogmanay Show, and One Foot in the Grave.
After a few years, he was chosen to be the host of the show The Craig Ferguson Show. The show’s pilot was broadcast in 1990. Two years later in 1992, his own series 2000 Not Out was broadcasted. In November 1994, he moved to Los Angeles and appeared on various shows such as Maybe This Time, The Drew Carey Show, The Big Tease, Saving Grace, and I'll Be There.

His credits in acting in movies/films are- Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Niagara Motel, Winnie the Pooh, Born Romantic, The Ugly Truth, Kick-Ass, How to Train Your Dragon, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Brave, among others.
In December 2004, it was announced Ferguson would succeed Craig Kilborn for CBS's The Late Late Show. He continued to host the show in late 2014. James Corden succeeded him as the new host for CBS. Craig Ferguson’s memoir titled American on Purpose: The Improbable Adventures of an Unlikely Patriot was released on 22 September 2009. His other books are Riding the Elephant: A Memoir of Altercations, Humiliations, Hallucinations, and Observations.
