Early Days
Soon after college graduation, Rovira started touring Paramount Comedy, where he performed stand-up comedy all around Spain. He eventually became known for his most famous monologue, "Mi familia y yo" ("My family and I").
As his career progressed, Dani Rovira went on to work in TV as well as films as an actor. His first appearances were in the TV programs Nuevos cómicos (2008-2010), Buenafuente (2009), Con Hache de Eva (2011), Alguien tenía que decirlo (2012), and voiced Brent McHale in the film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013).
His breakthrough came with the 2014 film Ocho apellidos vascos (Spanish Affair) as Rafael "Rafa" Quirós. The film went on to become the top-grossing Spanish title of all time with more than $75 million.
