Nihill was the Business Development/Research/Tour leader at the Whale Shark and Oceanic Research Centre WSORC in 2006. For less than a year, in 2007, he worked as a Financial Consultant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and as Creative Online Marketing Consultant at Betabrand from September 2005 to July 2008.

Dave Nihill continued his career in business as Director of Development/Director of Operations/Global Project Manager at EF Education & Hult International Business School from March 2008 to May 2013.

Comedy

Dave Nihill began his career as a comedian in the early 2010s. Since he struggled with public speaking, he tried to overcome his fear by trying comedy. He eventually started speaking at clubs and other events. By the end of the year, he had performed at leading comedy clubs across the US, toured with Ireland’s best comedians, and wrote the bestselling book Do You Talk Funny?

He founded the group FunnyBizz in 2014 and currently also serves as creative director. Since November 2021, he has been working as a managing director at Humor Theory.

He has been featured for Dry Bar Comedy, TED.com, Just For Laughs, Sirius XM, The Irish Independent, The Huffington Post, etc. Throughout his career, Nihill has lived in 12 countries and visited over seventy.
