His parents raised him alongside his two siblings – older brothers Peter DeLuise and Michael DeLuise.

Being born into a family of actors, DeLuise began his career as a child actor – at the age of 8. His debut screen role was as David Fortunato in the 1979 film Hot Stuff.
He went on to play minor roles in the films Happy (1983), The Silence of the Hams (1994), Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995), Dirt Merchant (1999), Terror Tract (2000), Buying the Cow (2002), Play Dates (2005), etc.
He also played recurring characters in the episodes of the TV series Saved by the Bell: The College Years (1993), 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996-2001), The Single Guy (1997), Jesse (1998-1999), Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles (1999-2000), Gilmore Girls (2004), Megas XLR (2004-2005), Stargate SG-1 (2004-2005), among others.
