Destorm Power is an actor, comedian, YouTuber, and social media influencer by profession and American by nationality. He is well known for his comedic YouTube videos including a series called Caught as well as for his singles and mixtapes.

Destorm Power’s birth took place on January 30, 1982, in Arlington County, Virginia, USA, and was raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He lived with his mother and seven siblings. His mother passed away due to stomach cancer in 2008.

Move to New York
In 2001, Destorm Power moved from Maryland to New York to pursue a career in music. He interned and was later hired as a ghostwriter for Atlantic Records, Universal, and numerous other labels. Around the same time, Power started his YouTube channel to share his singing, songwriting, and production.

Although Destorm Power’s YouTube channel was created to share his singing skills with the online community, he found love in comedy. Nowadays, his YouTube videos are famous for his comedy styles while also incorporating rapping and beatboxing.
In April 2017, he started a minute-long series on Instagram called Caught which later went on to air on YouTube and Facebook. As of October 2019, Power has around 3 million subscribers on his YouTube channel DeStorm.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2011, Destorm Power started Big Frame, a Multi-Channel Network, and founded Forefront.TV. He also went on to host MTV's Punk'd with co-host King Bach, founded The Zeus Network, and released two Mixtapes- Be Careful (May 1, 2012), and King Kong (February 3, 2013).
In addition to YouTube, Destorm Power is also an accomplished triple jumper and Master personal trainer, who was invited to the Olympic Trials.
