Dianne Doan is a Canadian actress of Vietnamese and Chinese descent. She is well known for appearing in the films Descendants, and Descendants 2 and the TV series Vikings, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Warrior.

Dianne Doan was born in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada on September 8, 1990. Her mother’s name is Tam Anh while the name of her father is not known. Her parents raised her alongside her two siblings- older sister Annie Doan and younger sister Theresa Doan.

Dianne Doan – Career
As a dancer
Doan’s interest in acting started at the age of 9 and a year later she began technical training in dance. Throughout her adult years, she worked as a dancer, performing in the Opening Ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver as well as a backup dancer for Michael Bublé.
Her other notable work includes as a dancer in music videos for Big Time Rush and Marianas Trench. Moreover, she has worked on Fox's hit franchise So You Think You Can Dance.

Dianne Doan’s major work as an actress was in a 2013 episode of Once Upon a Time as Isra. This was followed by roles in Impastor (2013), and Descendants: School of Secrets (2015). Finally, her role as Lonnie in the 2015 film Descendants is her breakthrough role.
Since then she has appeared in the film Descendants 2 (2017) and TV series Vikings (2016), Guidance (2017), Warrior (2019-2020), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2020), etc.
