Early Days

Baird started her career as a child model, appearing in commercials. After her mother enrolled her in acting classes to help her overcome introversion, she got into acting as well. She moved to Los Angeles at the age of 17 to pursue a career in acting. She auditioned for roles while working several odd jobs - clown at children's parties, caterer, waitress, and preschool teacher.

Finally, she broke into the modeling industry and was featured on the cover of the August 2005 issue of Playboy magazine. Diora Baird was then signed to Elite Model Management in Miami.

Her debut TV appearance was in a 2004 episode of the TV series The Drew Carey Show of Valerie. This was followed by guest roles in the TV series Big Day (2006-2007), The Loop (2007), Robot Chicken (2009), Shameless (2012-2013), Angel from Hell (2016), and in the web series Cobra Kai (2018-2019), among others. She has also portrayed characters in the TV films Cocked (2015), and Her Secret Family Killer (2020).
