Dylan Gelula is an actress by profession and American by nationality. She is better known for starring in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt as Xanthippe Lannister Voorhees and in the TV series Casual, Jennifer Falls, and Chasing Life.

Dylan Gelula’s birth took place on May 7, 1994, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. She was born as Dylan Nicole Gelula to father Jonathan Gelula and mother Karen Gelula. She was raised by her parents alongside her sibling, a brother named Max Gelula.

For education, Dylan Gelula attended Lower Merion High School. However, she had a difficult time in high school and was so infrequent in attending school that she was required to either repeat her senior year or drop out. Having opted to drop out, she moved to Los Angeles by herself at the age of seventeen.

Dylan Gelula – Career

Early Days

Gelula began acting at the age of 10. She was an extra in the film Lady in the Water. When in sixth grade she found a manager. Before dropping out and moving to LA, her manager had got her an audition for the role of Jean Fordham in an Arden Theatre Company production of August: Osage County. She ended up getting the role.

In Los Angeles, she worked as a waitress and as a buyer at Wasteland, a resale store while auditioning for roles. 

Films, TV Series

Dylan Gelula then landed guest roles in the episode of the TV series Are We There Yet? (2011), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011), and NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service (2013). She then had recurring appearances in Jennifer Falls (2014), and Chasing Life (2014 - 2015). Finally, in 2015, she was cast as Xanthippe Lannister Voorhees in the TV series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt which gained her wide recognition.
