Who is Emilie Ullerup?

Emilie Ullerup is an actress by profession and Danish by nationality. She is well known for starring in Sanctuary as Ashley Magnus and in Hallmark’s Chesapeake Shores.

Emilie Ullerup’s birth took place on 27 October 1984 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She was born Emilie Ullerup-Petersen to father Ove Ullerup-Petersen, who held the title of Lord Chamberlain for the Danish Royal Family, and mother Bodil Mørkøv Ullerup. 

She is not the only child of her parents and has two siblings- sisters Caroline Ullerup, and Simone Ullerup. Growing up in a diplomatic family, she moved with her family every 4 years to new places.

After graduating from high school Emilie Ullerup 2003, she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where she attended Vancouver Film School. She graduated from the same in 2005 after completing both the Acting Essentials and Acting for Film and Television programs.

Her ethnicity is Danish.

Emilie Ullerup married her longtime boyfriend Kyle Cassie on 14 August 2018. Her husband is also her main photographer. The couple has welcomed a child together. Their son Wilde Mørkøv Ullerup Cassie was born on January 24, 2020. They welcomed daughter Coco Mørkøv Ullerup Cassie on October 28, 2022.

Currently, she is in a blissful marriage without rumors of extra-marital affairs or divorce.

Ullerup’s debut role was as Julia Brynn in 2006 episode of Battlestar Galactica. This was followed by main roles in the TV series jPod (2008), Sanctuary (2008-2010), etc.

Over the years Emilie Ullerup has had a recurring role in True Justice (2012), the main role in Arctic Air (2012-2014), Chesapeake Shores (2016-present), and guest appearances in Riese: Kingdom Falling (2009-2010), True Justice (2011), Package Deal (2014), among others.

Moreover, she has starred in several Hallmark movies such as Hearts of Christmas (2016), With Love, Christmas (2017), Winter Castle (2019), and Lifetime movie Sleepwalking in Suburbia (2017), among others.

Emilie Ullerup also has portrayed roles in numerous films such as Hunt to Kill (2010), A Little Bit Zombie (2012), Death Do Us Part (2014), Life on the Line (2015), True Memoirs of an International Assassin (2016), Assassin's Fury, to name a few.
