Eric Masip’s birth took place on November 24, 1995, in Barcelona, Spain. His father is the professional handball player Enric Masip, who won a bronze medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and was the captain of the Spanish team from 1989 to 2003. His mother’s name is Rosa Gurri Puig. He was raised alongside his sibling- younger sister Adriana Masip (born Nov 1998).
Following his parent's divorce and his father’s subsequent relationship with Belen Gomis, he has a half-brother named Jordan (born Aug 2011). Enric Masip married Belen in 2017 and is now his stepmother.

Masip made his debut screen appearance in the 2014 film Menu for Two as David. This was followed by minor roles in the films Sweet Home (2015), Summer Camp (2015), Little Tito and the Aliens (2017), and in the episodes of the TV series Fugitiva (2018), Amar es para siempre (2018), Cuéntame (2019), Caronte (2020), Elite (2020), among others.

Finally, Eric Masip was cast as Bruno Costa in the Spanish TV series Alba (2021). He appeared in the TV show for a total of 13 episodes which is considered his breakthrough role.
Since then Eric Masip has starred in the films The Christ Child (2021) as Marco, Through My Window (2022) as Artemis Hidalgo, Un novio para mi mujer (2022) as Leo, A través del mar as Artemis Hidalgo, among others. Moreover, he portrayed Mikel in eight episodes of the TV series Madres. Amor y vida.
