Ethan Peck is an actor by profession and American by nationality. His grandfather is actor Gregory Peck who is well known for starring in the films The Midnight Sky and the TV series Star Trek: Discovery, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

Ethan Peck’s birth took place on March 2, 1986, in Los Angeles, California, USA. His full name is Ethan Gregory Peck. His mother is abstract artist Francine Matarazzo and his father is Stephen Peck, who is a former actor, filmmaker, Vietnam veteran, and the CEO of the U.S. Veterans Initiative. His parents eventually divorced.
From his mother's previous marriage, he has an older half-sibling named Marisa Matarazzo. Matarazzo, who is nine years older than Ethan, is now an accomplished novelist and creative writing professor at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.
Peck has other famous names in his family. His paternal grandfather is famous actor Gregory Peck and his Finnish wife, Greta Kukkonen. Journalist Veronique Peck is his step-grandmother and actress, producer, and director Cecilia Peck is his paternal half-aunt.

Following high school, where he played varsity lacrosse and football, he attended Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2004. There he studied Experimental Theater Wing for three years before dropping out to focus on his career.

Early Days
Born into a family of entertainers, Peck also took to acting. He began his career as an actor in the year 1995, his debut role being Tyler in an episode of the TV series Charlie Grace. This was appearances by roles in the series The Drew Carey Show, That '70s Show, The O'Keefes, etc.
In 2009 Ethan Peck was cast as the main character Patrick Verona in the TV sitcom 10 Things I Hate About You. This is his breakthrough role, although it was canceled after only one season.
