Grace Van Dien is an actress by profession and American by nationality. She is best known for her work in the TV series The Village, Greenhouse Academy, and Stranger Things.

Grace Van Dien was born on October 15, 1996, in Los Angeles, California, the USA as Caroline Dorothy Grace Van Dien. Her father’s name is Casper Van Dien and her mother’s name is Carrie Mitchum, they are both actors. 

After her parent’s divorce, Van Dien’s father went on to marry Catherine Oxenberg, Jennifer Wenger, who are both actresses. Most of her family- step-siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins are all actors, entertainers, or performers.

She is not the only child of her parents and has three siblings- older brother Cappy Van Dien, younger half-sister Maya Van Dien, and younger half-sister Celeste Van Dien. All of her siblings are actors.

Grace Van Dien – Career

Early Days

Having been born into a family of performers and entertainers, she too took to acting as her career. Van Dien’s debut role was in the TV movie The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation. This was followed by roles in the films Sleeping Beauty (2014), Fire Twister (2015), Army Dog (2016), Patient Seven (2016), The Bad Twin (2016), Awaken the Shadowman (2017), Charlie Says (2018), etc and in the episodes of the TV series Code Black (2015), White Famous (2017), among others.

Finally, Grace Van Dien was cast as Brooke Osmond in the TV series Greenhouse Academy. This is considered her breakthrough role, having appeared in around 25 episodes, until 2019.

Films, Series

Since then Van Dien has appeared in the episodes of the TV series The Village (2019), What Just Happened??! (2019), The Rookie (2019), Immoral Compass (2021), Stranger Things (2022), among others. Grace Van Dien has also starred in the films Riding Faith (2020), Lady Driver (2020), The Binge (2020), V for Vengeance (2022), The Fix, Aaah! Roach!, Julius Caesar Live Read!, etc.
