Early Days
Harris Dickinson almost joined the Royal Marines after he dropped out of school. After his coach at RAW Academy convinced him to return to the theatre, he resumed his career as an actor. He began his career as an actor in 2013. His early roles were in the short films Who Cares (2013), Surface (2014), and Drop (2015) as a director as well as a writer.
This was followed by the role of Frankie in the 2017 film Beach Rats. The role earned him an Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead nomination and is considered his breakthrough role.
