Jason Brooks’ birth took place on May 10, 1966, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. He was born Jason Maxwell Brooks to a father who was an endocrinologist who devoted his career to diabetes research and his mother, a Deputy City attorney.
He is not the only child of his parents and has two older siblings. His brother is a physicist and earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Yale and his sister is a social worker as well as an author.

Jason Brooks and his longtime girlfriend Corinne Olivo eloped on February 20, 1994. Their post-wedding celebration was held in August 1994 after both sets of parents felt “cheated”. With his wife, he had two children- both boys. His first son Jaredan Brooks was born in March 1999 while the detail of his second son is not known.
Corinne Olivo is the daughter of actress Danica d'Hondt and winemaker Nello Olivo. Through his marriage, he is also the brother-in-law of Canadian-American actress America Campbell and her husband actor Christian Campbell, also an actor.
As of current news, Brooks is living a blissful marriage without rumors of extra-marital affairs and divorce.

Early Career
At the age of 21 Brooks along with a friend founded a non-fat yogurt company Island Yogurt, which went on to be successful. He then invested some of his profits into acting classes and began to audition for roles.
Finally, after years of struggling as an unemployed actor, he landed his debut role in the 1990 TV movie I’m Dangerous Tonight but his scenes were deleted followed by a role in an episode of 1990’s Doogie Howser, M.D. Finally, in 1993 Jason Brooks was cast in the daytime soap opera Days Of Our Lives where he portrayed the of role Peter Blake from 1993 to 1998.

After landing his breakthrough role, Brooks began to find continuous work. Over the years he has starred in the TV series Friends (1997), The Pretender (1999-2000), Baywatch (1999-2001), Charmed (2002), NCIS (2003), The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (2007), Criminal Minds (2010), among others.
Moreover, he has also appeared in the TV films A Carol Christmas (2003), Mystery Woman: Wild West Mystery (2006), Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta! (2012), Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys (2014), Lifetime’s Adopted in Danger (2020), and the video game Murdered: Soul Suspect (2014) as Ronan O'Connor.
