In 2007, at the age of 21, Jason Wong moved to Hong Kong where he lived with his great-grandmother. He was inspired by the late Hollywood star Bruce Lee to learn martial arts- Wing Chun Kung-Fu. There he taught English and drama during the day to support himself. He has also learned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
He began his career as an actor after returning to the UK. His debut screen role was as Howler in an episode of the TV series Spirit Warriors. After a minor role in the 2010 short film Rapture and lending his voice to the video game James Bond 007: Blood Stone (2010), Wong landed the recurring role of Fitzpatrick in the TV series Missing (2012). He portrayed the character for a total of seven episodes.
Since then Jason Wong has portrayed minor characters in the films Redemption (2013), Panic (2014), Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), Intrigo: Dear Agnes (2019), The Gentlemen (2019), Wrath of Man (2021), The 355 (2022), Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023), The Interpreter (2023), etc.
Moreover, he has also had recurring appearances in the episodes of the TV series 24: Live Another Day (2014), White Dragon (2018), Chimerica (2019), Midsomer Murders (2021), and Silent Witness (2021), among others.
