In 2004 Jena Sims won the Miss Georgia Junior National Teenager and a year later was crowned 2005’s Miss Junior National Teenager. On November 11, 2006, she won Miss Georgia Teen USA 2007 title. Sims went on to represent Georgia in the Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant but did not place in the pageant.

Taking some acting classes, Jena Sims also began her career as an actress. Her first recognized role was in the 2012 horror TV film Attack of the 50-Foot Cheerleader as the lead Cassie. She also has had minor roles in Last Vegas (2013), Kill the Messenger (2014), 3-Headed Shark Attack (2015), American Beach House (2015), Sharknado 5 (2017), in the TV series Entourage, etc.

Others include The Last Movie Star, Beneath the Leaves, Fury of the Fist and the Golden Fleece, and Minutes to Midnight.

In addition, Sims is also a model and has been pursuing a career in modeling and has appeared in numerous commercials.
