Josef Altin began his professional career as an actor in 1999 with the series Psychos. This was followed by roles in Dirty Pretty Things (2002), Babyfather (2002), Blackpool (2004), The Bill (2004-2009), Doctors (2006), Casualty (2006-20019), and Ruby Blue (2007).

Films, Series

In 2007, Josef Altin began to gain fame with the film Eastern Promises, where he played Ekrem. Since then, he has starred in 10 Days to War (2008), Being Human (2009), and Misfits (2009-2011).

Altin has also acted in Him & Her (2011-2012), Game of Thrones (2011, 2013-2014) as Pypar or Pyp, Vendetta (2013), The Alienist (2018), and Tomb Raider (2018).

He has also appeared in Jamie T’s 2007 music video If You Got The Money and JAveon’s 2013 music video Give Up.
