Julianne Hough is a dancer, actress, and singer by profession and American by nationality. She is best known as Dancing with the Stars champion and her work in Grease and as a judge in America's Got Talent since 2019.

Julianne Hough’s birth took place on July 20, 1988, in Orem, Utah, USA. She was born Julianne Alexandra Hough to mother Marianne Hough, an actress, and father Bruce Hough, a politician.
She is not the only child of her parents and has four older siblings – brother Derek Hough and sisters Katherine Hough, Sharee Hough, and Marabeth Hough.
Amidst her parents’ divorce, she and her brother were sent to live in London under coaches Corky and Shirley Ballas. There the Ballas tutored them alongside their own son Mark Ballas Jr.

Julianne Hough studied at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. After returning to the US at the age of 15, she attended Las Vegas Academy and Alta High School.
Her ethnicity includes English, Dutch, French, Canadian, German, Swiss, Irish, Scottish, and Danish.
Julianne Hough – Boyfriend, Husband, Children, Divorce
Hough dated Chuck Wicks from August 2008 to November 2009. She was in a relationship with Ryan Seacrest from April 2010 to March 2013.
After their breakup, she began dating NHL player Brooks Laich in December 2013. Julianne Hough got engaged to her boyfriend Laich, which was announced on August 18, 2015. The couple married on July 8, 2017, near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She and her husband have not announced pregnancy nor have they welcomed any children as of 2019.
In June 2020 it was reported that the pair were getting a divorce.
Following her divorce, she went on to date ex-boyfriend Ryan Seacrest and was also spotted kissing model Chalie Wilson.

Julianne Hough – Career
Pre-fame
Hough’s all four grandparents were dancers and she too began her formal training at Center Stage Performing Arts Studio. By the age of 9, she was already dancing competitively. At 12 years old, Julianne Hough performed at dance competitions in the UK, and US including in TV shows.
In 2006, she joined Show Me the Money as a contestant. The next year in 2007, Hough paired up with Apolo Ohno and won season four of Dancing with the Stars (DWTS). The victory made her the youngest professional dancer to win the program.

Dancing, Singing
Since her first win in 2007, she has participated in seasons 5 through 8 of DWTS. She was able to win season 5 of DWTS but came in the 9th, 4th, and 6th positions in the following seasons.
As a singer, Julianne Hough released her first single in 2007. In May 2008, she released her first studio album Julianne Hough followed by the EP Sounds of the Season: The Julianne Hough Holiday Collection in October 2008. Moreover, she has released four other singles.
She has teamed up with her brother for Move Live on Tour which included the siblings dancing and singing. The tour began on May 25, 2014, and ended on July 26, 2014, after covering 40 cities all across the US.

Julianne Hough has had several appearances in films and TV shows- including Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001), Burlesque (2010), Footloose (2011), Rock of Ages (2012), Paradise (2013), Grease (2016).
In February 2019, it was announced Julianne Hough would be joining America's Got Talent as a judge, alongside Gabrielle Union. However, just after a season at AGT both Hough and Union made a controversial exit from the show.
