Quinn was the vocalist of the band Closer 2 Closure which included Titus Lockard as a guitarist as well as a songwriter. He left the band and joined Sleeping with Sirens in 2009.

As a member of the rock band Sleeping with Sirens, Kellin Quinn released his first studio album With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear in 2010. This was followed by the release of the albums Let's Cheers to This (2011), Feel (2013), Madness (2015), Gossip (2017), and How It Feels to Be Lost (2019).

Their 2012 EP If You Were a Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack reached number 17 on the Billboard 200. They have also released music videos for Wolf in Disguise (2020), Legends (2017), and Roger Rabbit (2012), to name a few. Moreover, as of 2020, they have released around 30 singles.
