Kenny Chesney’s birth took place on March 26, 1968, in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. He was born Kenneth Arnold Chesney to his mother Karen Chandler, a hairstylist, and his father David Chesney, a former elementary school teacher.
He is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling, a younger half-sister named Jennifer Chandler.

Early Days
Chesney self-released his first demo album in 1989, which sold around 1,000 copies. From the money he earned, he bought a new guitar and moved to Nashville where he performed at several local clubs.
In 1992 the aspiring singer was introduced to Troy Tomlinson, who signed him to Opryland Music Group. And just a year later Kenny Chesney was signed with Capricorn Records. His debut album In My Wildest Dreams was released in April 1994 and sold approximately 10,000 copies.
After Capricorn Records closed down, he signed with BNA Records. With the label, he released his second album All I Need to Know in 1995. Two of its songs reached the top 10 while one single peaked at number 23.
