Who is Kim Zolciak-Biermann?

Kim Zolciak-Biermann is a singer, reality TV star by profession, and American by nationality. She is well known for appearing in Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding, and Don't Be Tardy.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann – Birth, Parents, Siblings

Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s birth took place on May 19, 1978, in Pensacola, Florida, USA. She was born Kimberleigh Marie Zolciak to her mother Karen Zolciak and her father Joe Zolciak. She is not the only child of her parents and has a sibling, a brother named Michael Zolciak.

Education, Ethnicity

For education, Kim Zolciak-Biermann attended East Catholic High School, graduating in 1996. She went on to study nursing at the University of Connecticut. Eventually, at the age of 21, Kim Zolciak-Biermann moved to Atlanta, Georgia.

She is of Italian and Polish ethnicity.

When she was 17 years old, she had an affair with a Windsor Locks police sergeant who had interviewed her as a witness. As Kim Zolciak-Biermann was underage at that time, the sergeant was initially fired, but the termination was later changed to a 45-day suspension without pay. 

Zolciak-Biermann has a daughter from a previous relationship. Her oldest child, Brielle Karenna Biermann, was born on February 25, 1997. The identity of the father of her daughter has not been publicized.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann went on to date and marry Daniel Toce on 5 May 2001. She and her husband have a daughter together – daughter Ariana Lenee, who was born on October 17, 2001.

However, this marriage did not last, and the couple divorced, which was finalized on 11 February 2003.

The reality star publicly stated that she is bisexual by sexuality. She further revealed that she and DJ Tracy Young were in a romantic relationship.

She went on to date Atlanta Falcons football player Kroy Biermann in May 2010, having met at the charity event Dancing with Atlanta Stars. The couple married on November 11, 2011, at their home in Roswell, Georgia. 

She and her second husband have four children together- sons Kroy Jagger Biermann Jr. (born May 30, 2011), Kash Kade Biermann (born August 15, 2012), and twins – Kane Ren Biermann (Son) and Kaia Rose Biermann (daughter), who was born on November 25, 2013.

Her husband, Kroy, adopted her two daughters from previous relationships and gave them his surname.

The pair has since divorced, which was finalized in 2023.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann is currently single.

Early Days

In 2008, Kim Zolciak-Biermann made an appearance on Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She left the series in the middle of season 5 as she had received her own spin-off show titled Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding earlier the same year. The spin-off was renewed for the second season and, as of January 2020, has released a total of 7 seasons.
