Layton Greene is a professional singer, songwriter, and American national. Currently signed with Quality Control Music and Universal Music Group, her debut EP, Tell Ya Story was released in September 2019.

Layton Greene’s birth took place on April 12, 1998, in East St. Louis, Illinois, USA. She is not close to her biological father and was brought up by her stepfather. 

After her mother and stepfather separated (when she was 14), she, her mother, and her brother moved in with her maternal grandmother. However, the arrangement did not work out. So her mother moved in with her boyfriend, her brother with his girlfriend and Layton Greene lived with her grandmother.

At a point in her life, Greene was homeless, living with her boyfriend while her brother and mother lived in a motel.
