Maddie Marlow is a country singer by profession and American by nationality. She is one half of the Nashville-based country music duo Maddie & Tae, the other being Tae Dye (born Taylor Elizabeth Kerr).

Early Days

Maddie Marlow and Tae Dye were learning under the same vocal coach in 2010 and eventually met at a showcase in Dallas. Throughout the year the duo performed under the name Sweet Aliana. 

After graduation from high school, they moved to Nashville and signed with Dot Records in June 2014. After Dots folded in 2017, they signed with the Mercury Nashville label in early 2018.

Albums, EP

Maddie Marlow and Tae Dye, who later took the stage name Maddie & Tae released their first extended play Maddie & Tae on November 4, 2014. This was followed by two EPs One Heart to Another (released April 26, 2019) and Everywhere I'm Goin' (released October 18, 2019).

The duo also two released studio albums Start Here (August 2015), and The Way It Feels (April 2020). Among their six released singles, Girl in a Country Song was branded RIAA: Platinum while Fly and Die from a Broken Heart were branded RIAA: Gold.

Maddie Marlow is the lead vocal, a right-handed guitarist, and a mandolin player while Tae Dye is on the background vocals as well as a left-handed guitarist.
