Maria Bartiromo’s birth took place on September 11, 1967, in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. She was born Maria Sara Bartiromo to her mother Josephine Bartiromo, who worked as the hostess seating guests, and her father Vincent Bartiromo, who owned Rex Manor restaurant in Brooklyn.
She is not the only child of her parents and has two older siblings- her sister is named Theresa Santoro while the name of her brother is not publicized.

Early Career
Bartiromo began her career while still a student at NYU, working as an intern at CNN. After completing her education she worked as an executive producer as well as assignment editor for CNN Business News.
Although she worked at CNN for 5 years, she did not receive an on-screen. So she applied for an on-screen job at CNBC.
With CNBC, Fox
In 1993 Maria Bartiromo replaced analyst Roy Blumberg at CNBC. With the channel, she began hosting Market Watch and Squawk Box and was the first journalist to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
At CNBC, she also worked as an anchor and managing editor of On the Money with Maria Bartiromo, hosting The Business of Innovation, Closing Bell (2002–2013), Market Wrap (1998–2000), and Business Center (1997–1999).
On November 18, 2013, it was announced that Maria Bartiromo would be joining Fox Business Network (FBN) after 20 years of working at CNBC. Currently, she hosts Mornings with Maria, Maria Bartiromo's Wall Street on FBN.
