Micheal Ward’s birth took place on 18 November 1997 in Jamaica and was raised in Romford, Essex, London, England from the age of 4. His father passed away when he was just 3 years old and his mother Meeka was the one who raised him.
He is not the only child of his parents and has three siblings, all sisters. One of his sisters is named Shan Timiaz.

Before starting his career as an actor, Micheal Ward worked as a model for several years. He got his big break at the age of 17 when he won a modeling competition to be the face of JD Sports.
In recent years he has posed for several high-profile magazines including British GQ (April 2020), Vogue (March 2020), Wave (December 2019), The Face, Asos, etc. He has also been featured in Burning Bright magazine.

He was originally interested in pursuing a career in football but got into acting after playing Macduff in the school production of Shakespeare's Macbeth.
As an actor, Micheal Ward has starred in Netflix’s crime drama series Top Boy (2019) as Jamie, in The A-List, in the film Blue Story (2019) as Marco, and in the TV mini-series Dev's Diary (2018). He is currently represented by Olivia Bell Management.
